If our summer with the Youth Futurescapers felt like a spark, this past week lit the whole sky.
The work of our 13 brilliant, bold young team members is making waves across Nevada, and not just in our own community. Both The Nevada Independent and Las Vegas Sun featured their vision for the IAN Hub and celebrated the upcoming Almanac for the Future of Learning, written and designed by the Futurescapers themselves.
Here’s what the world is learning:Young people aren’t just asking for change. They’re designing it.
From pitching a “mall of opportunity” where learning meets the needs of young people, to modeling what co-creation with youth can look and feel like, our Futurescapers are putting joy, agency, and purpose at the center of learning.
As we shared in our recent blog, What We Learned from Our Youth Futurescapers, this isn’t tokenizing youth engagement. It's young people driving change, and the headlines are catching up.
The Almanac for the Future of Learning drops August 11, and we can’t wait for you to see what these young visionaries have created.
The future is now, and it’s full of possibilities.
